Water vale repair work in the area

Expect slower traffic this week along Broad Street between Belvidere and Harrison. There will be temporary lane closures while crews work on repairing water valves in the area. This also means that some parts of the community will be without water between 3:00 – 11:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Richmond School Board votes to close schools

On Monday, the Richmond School Board voted to potentially close three schools, including the Adult Career Development Center on Leigh Street in Jackson Ward.
