The Lafayette Tree – Living History
Not a Christmas Tree today, but a living piece of Richmond history. This tree was planted in honor of the Marquis de Lafayette in 1825 when he toured the country he helped found.

Welcome to the Neighborhood – Lazy Dayz Hookah
I came across this friendly looking spot during a tour of the neighborhood last night. I’m not sure when they showed up, but they’re here now. There are several other LDH in Norfolk and Newport News, but nothing listed on their website about their Richmond store, but I did find this on Yelp!.
