Thanksgiving Feast and Blood Drive

The Giving Heart Community Thanksgiving Feast will take place again this year at the Greater Richmond Convention Center on November 22 between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Everyone is invited. The Giving Heart Community Thanksgiving Feast began in 2005 as a free, community-wide event with nearly 3,000 attendees each year. The Giving Heart typically also offers free health screenings at the Thanksgiving Feast and distributes Giving Bags filled with toiletries and other essentials to needy members of our community. All volunteer opportunities for the 2012 Thanksgiving Feast are filled, so mark your calendar to volunteer in 2013.

This year, Virginia Blood Services will also be at the Convention Center holding a Thanksgiving Holiday Blood Drive in Exhibit Hall B between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
