Diversity, Discussion and Desserts

Tuesdays, October 23, October 30, November 6, and November 13, 1:15 – 2:15 pm at the Richmond Public Library, 101 East Franklin Street.

Enjoy desserts while VCU international students and Instructor Audrey Short facilitate discussions and share stories from various countries. In small groups, students from six countries will give presentations about their cultures, focusing on travel, language, food, holidays and art. By attending these events, patrons will help the students to improve their English speaking skills while learning about the world from members of VCU’s international community. Become part of a diverse learning group and experience international culture with VCU students from around the world. Free and open to the public. Call the main library to reserve your seat: (804) 646-7223. Contact for more information: Audrey Short (804) 828-2551.
