Two Robberies on Brook Road (Updated!)

Update:

From the Times Dispatch:

Police believe the same robbers struck twice within minutes Thursday night in Richmond’s Carver neighborhood Jackson Ward (Edit Mine). No one was injured.

Richmond police Capt. Paul Kiniry said a man was walking in the 300 block of Brook Road at 9:30 p.m. when he was confronted by two males with a handgun who robbed him of a cell phone.

Kiniry said the suspects fled around the corner and confronted a woman, who was forced to dump the contents of her purse. The suspects went through the contents but didn’t take anything, Kiniry said.
