Help raise money for school supplies

Is your child prepared for the first day of school next week?

This year Duct Tape Love, a local T-shirt company, and Mama J’s Kitchen are partnering together to raise money and help purchase school supplies for children in the neighborhood.

Monica Lewis, CEO of Duct Tape Love said,

We had heard that the school drive that normally takes place in Jackson Ward had been moved to the southside…We wanted to make sure there was something still going on in the area.

Need an incentive to donate money to this worthy cause? Any Mama J’s customer that donates at least $5 at the restaurant will receive a 10% discount on their dining tab. If your child is in need of school supplies, backpacks with supplies will be distributed n Saturday, September 1, in front of Mama J’s beginning at noon.
