Police looking for armed robber on a bicycle in the Carver neighborhood.

Tuesday night around 8 p.m. near the corner of Goshen and Clay Streets, police said a woman was held up by a bicyclist at gunpoint. Police said a man with a gun stole a woman’s purse and then peddled off. It’s not unusual to see someone riding a bicycle in the Carver neighborhood, but it is unusual for one of those bike riders to be carrying a gun and robbing people walking on the street.
