Armed Robbery on West Clay

Here’s another unacceptable incident that occurs all to frequently in Greater Jackson Ward. My definition of “too frequently” is ever, but more realistically it would be so infrequently that when it did happen, it would rate more than a mention in the major media outlets. As it is, this hardly qualifies as news, except here.

200 block of West Clay Street
A male and female reported they were robbed at gunpoint by three unknown males.

There are two more property crimes listed in today’s Crime Report from the RPD, including a stolen scooter and firearm.

300 block of West Marshall Street
An unknown person(s) stole a scooter from the above location.

THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
6/22/12 – 6/23/12 11:00 p.m. – 3:30 a.m.
00 block of West Broad Street
An unknown person(s) entered the vehicle and stole a firearm.
