Plant a Little Garden

That what Janet Armstead did.  Then she start giving plants to her neighbors.  Then her neighbors started  gardens of their own.  Not being satisfied with that, she and her neighbors started their own neighborhood watch program called Seven Eyes.  I’m thinking that’s seven people all keeping an eye out for each other.  This is a “neighborhood in bloom”, old school style.  When Janet is not out working on her garden, she runs a daycare service from her home.   You can find her on the 100 block of E. Clay Street  500 Block of N. 1st Street.  Walk on by, say hello and see how her garden grows.
