Shoot out at New York Fried Chicken

via The Times Dispatch:

Richmond Police have apprehended two persons of interest in a shooting on West Broad Street that left one man wounded.

Officers were called about 12:20 a.m. Monday to the New York Fried Chicken at 501 W. Broad St. after shots were fired in the parking lot, said Lt. Thomas Nolan.

One man was shot in the thigh, though his injury was not life-threatening, Nolan said.

Two people are being questioned, though no charges have been filed, and it was unclear what led to the shooting.

The shooting prompted VCU police to send an e-mail alert to the campus.
