Kiniry said one robbery occurred in an alley in the 200 block of West Marshall Street, where a victim told police he was walking to his apartment when a black male in dark clothing rode up on a bicycle and brandished a silver-chrome handgun. The victim was forced to take off his shoes and lay face-down on the ground, and the robber took his belongings and rode off.
Kiniry said another man told police Tuesday evening that he had been robbed Monday about 9:30 p.m. in the 200 block of North Monroe Street, also by an armed black male in dark clothing who was riding a bicycle. That victim also was forced to lay face-down, but the robber did not make him take off his shoes
