One of Everything This Weekend

There was one of almost every kind of crime in Greater Jackson Ward this past weekend. Rape, robbery, assault, you name it, we got it. It makes the eight or ten Thefts from Motor Vehicles look tame by comparison.

RAPE
12/1/11 4:34 p.m.
200 block of West Marshall Street
A female reported she was raped by a known male.

ROBBERY
12/2/11 12:30 a.m.
00 block of West Franklin Street
A male reported he was assaulted and robbed by several unknown males.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT (SHOOTING)
12/4/11 3:29 a.m.
North Foushee and East Broad streets
A male reported he was shot by an unknown person. His injuries are not life-threatening.

BURGLARY
12/2/11 12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.
1000 block of St. James Street
An unknown person(s) entered the residence and stole cash.

SHOOTING INTO AN OCCUPIED VEHICLE
12/4/11 6:35 p.m.
400 block of North 8th Street
An unknown person(s) shot a vehicle once.
