Save Louisiana Flair

I was pretty sure something like this was coming.  There has been a huge reaction to the news that Louisiana Flair Cajun Restaurant would close at the end of this month.  As a matter of fact, ever since the announcement was made the tables have been full and po’ boy sandwiches have been flying out the door.  Their Facebook page has been flooded with lamentations and stories published here have been very popular.  We now there is a new Facebook page, “Save Louisiana Flair“.  If you don’t know by now, I have a special interest in this place and nothing would make me happier than to see it off the chopping block.  The page just went up today.  Here is there initial post.

Welcome, as we all know Chef Nate has fallen on hard times and is planning to close our favorite restaurant. We need help to locate another location and a partner to help him both relocate and remain in business. Nate does a lot for everyone else, lets return the favor and keep real Cajun food in Richmond.

Maybe getting out of the city lunch scene is just what he needs to get a little more flair back. But please bring the musical entertainment with you.
