You’ve probably noticed a few changes.  The biggest one is our name.

Greater Jackson Ward News

We are very excited about the change.  GJWN represents a new focus which has been in place now for many months.  Jackson Ward is the epicente, but GJWN will cover the news and neighborhoods from Newtowne West to Court End, from North Jackson Ward to Monroe Ward.  Jackson Ward is currently undergoing an amazing revival.  It wasn’t too long ago it was considered by many a no go zone.  It is rapidly becoming a must-go zone.  We look forward to covering the changes and challenges over the  coming years.  It promises to be exciting.  We hope you’ll come along for the ride.
