Deadly Embankment Claims a Life

In an accident that could have been much worse, the driver of a Chevy Surburban southbound on I95/64 near the Lombardy Street overpass, struck another SUV carrying a mother and her daughter.  The driver of the Suburban was killed after her vehicle went over the embankment and ended up near Bowe Street.  The mother and daughter were unhurt.  According to CBS6 this is not an uncommon occurance.

Neighbors we spoke to who live near the overpass say this stretch of the interstate has been a problem for years. They say they have seen numerous crashes there, with vehicles falling down the same embankment.
