One of the first condo projects to come on the market in years in downtown Richmond will be finished this summer.
The eight-unit condominium — 16 West Broad, named for its location — is in Jackson Ward amid art galleries, restaurants, a pawn shop and a few sundry stores.
“I love this part of town,” said Walter Parks, the architect and developer whose office is around the corner on North Adams Street.

Shooting Victim Sues Club
One of numerous incidents related to Club Aurora.
A former Virginia Union University basketball player who was partially paralyzed in a drive-by shooting outside a downtown nightclub is suing the establishment for $10 million.
The former basketball player, Lemoyne Williams, 26, of West Haven, Conn., has brought a civil lawsuit against Euro Enterprises Inc., doing business as Club Aurora, in connection with the shooting, which wounded two men in June 2010.
